We support infrastructure design, build and operations on AWS end to end, from requirements to production. We draw on 13 years of hands-on design, build and operations work, including as CTO and corporate IT lead for e-commerce and web services.

Offshore development and engineering team management / PMO
We support setting up and managing development teams, running offshore development, and designing PMO and development processes. We have run teams with overseas members as CTO of a Thai subsidiary and as lead for a 30-person development team at a vendor in Vietnam.

Reliability and availability of AWS production, and SRE improvements
We support improving the reliability and availability of production e-commerce and web systems on AWS, and building operations that hold up under failure. Over 13 years we have run production infrastructure and handled incidents hands-on, building practical know-how for keeping systems running steadily.

- Improving uptime and reliability (introducing SLOs / SLIs, making bottlenecks visible)
- Designing monitoring and observability (metrics, logs and alerts with CloudWatch and similar)
- Incident response processes (detect → first response → recover → prevent, a post-mortem culture)
- Load handling and performance (auto-scaling design, load distribution with the Akamai CDN)
